Offering in-person therapy in Westchester or online sessions for all New York residents.

What issues do you treat?

Dr. Mijin Kim treats teenagers and adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, addictions, eating disorders, and other mental health challenges.

What makes your practice unique?

I value working with individuals, couples, and families who strive for various goals in life but have difficulties achieving them because of internal inhibitions or circumstantial challenges. It is one of my clinical emphases to help clients understand and overcome their psychological blockages. I use a client-centered approach and will work with you to come up with solutions that fit your life. Therapy is a safe, nonjudgmental space where we work together to provide you with the tools and skills you need to handle challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, addictions, eating disorders, and more.
A cozy arrangement on a wooden table with a lit candle, a cup on a tray, and sheets of paper alongside dried lavender, creating a peaceful and contemplative space reminiscent of Dr. Mijin Kim's therapeutic environment.

Will I be stuck in therapy forever?

Therapy is not meant to last forever. The length of treatment depends on your needs and goals. The goal of therapy is to promote independence and help you learn skills and techniques so you can experience tangible improvements. Click here to learn more about what to expect in therapy.
